Shami Kabab

How to make shami kabab at home

It is quite easy and simple to make very delicious shami kabab at home. Just follow the following steps with ingredients:

Ingredients:

  1. Boneless breast pieces         2
  2. Potatoes medium size          3 or 4
  3. Onion  medium size             1
  4. Chana Dal                          1 cup (about 200 gram)
  5. Sinnamon stick                    2
  6. Dry coriander powder           1 tea spoon
  7. Cumin (zeera) powder           1 tea spoon
  8. Red chili                            3
  9. Green chili                          2
  10. Fresh coriander                   As per requirement
  11. Bread crumb                       1 tea cup 
  12. Eggs                                 2 
  13. Garam Masala                      1 tea spoon
  14. Salt                                  As per requirement
Procedure:

  1. Boil 1 and 2 separately
  2. Put 3, 4, 5, and 8 together and boil well
  3. Separate 5 and 8 from the boiled paste
  4. Put everything together in a cooking pot
  5. Mix them well, the kabab paste is ready
  6. Make shami kabab of your choice in a circle shape
  7. Fry the kabab and serve with podina chatni
Note: The un fried kabab can be freezed for later use
